Who discovered dance?

Dance does not leave behind clearly identifiable physical artifacts such as stone tools, hunting implements or cave paintings. It is not possible to say when dance became part of human culture.

No one person invented dance, or group for that matter. The first forms of dances were done as rituals in ancient times all around the world, meant to please and praise gods/spirits in various ancient cultures. These dances can still be seen in Native American tribes, African tribes andvarious other cultures throughout the world. As we get farther into the emergence of more advanced civilizations in the medieval/renaisance times, dance becomes a more poised, proper, and technical aspect of society. This is when partner dancing really became popular and high members of society learned coreographed dances to be done at parties and events. Folk Dancing soon emerged from this and bridged the gap into the next "era" of dance. As soon as the Romantic and Baroque eras emerged classical Ballet became an increasing interest. Classical Ballet started in Russia and France for the most part and various forms/syllabus and techniques were created and written down. Ballet continued to grow and in Ballets, choreographersbegan to pull steps from the folk dances, becoming known as character dance pulling flamenco, salsa and various other cultural dances onto the stage. The dance forms which are the most popular now such as jazz, modern, lyrical, break, and hip-hop were not really "created" until the late 20th century after the disco period phased out. So ultimately, there is no person or point in time in which dance was really "invented", and that is one of the beauties of the art form, it is a very free uninhibiting artform in which personal expression is key.

There are lots of different types of dance and they were all invented at different time. We do not know exactly when the first dance was in the prehistoric era. Street dance was created as a dance that kept gangs off the street and they did it on the street. This was around 1975. I hope this answered your question!! :) :P

Everyone really in their on kind of way. Like us, they heard the beat and let their bodues move. Wheither it was for the king and quen r for a guy/girl which the dancer is ineterested in

Dance didn't "get invented". Animals have been doing mating dances for probably nearly as long as there have been animals.
