In the beginning of Act 3, scene 2, when the nurse is talking about Tybalt being slain, Juliet first thinks she is talking about romeo
In act 3 scene 2, the Nurse does not tell her story very clearly, and at first Juliet thinks that Romeo is dead.
Romeo. And she's right, he is dead.
Friar Lawrence told Juliet that she should take the sleeping pills he gives her, then she will be carried to her bedroom. When the nurse finds her, she will think she is dead because she is so asleep. Then she will be carried to a mortuary. Word will be sent to Romeo that she is pretending she is dead and which mortuary. Everything works except the word about Juliet does not get through. So when Romeo finds of Juliet's death, he goes to the mortuary. Thinking she is dead, he kills himself on the sleeping pills that Juliet has taken. After that, Juliet awakens, and, finding Romeo dead, kills herself with his dagger.
He figures if her parents think she is dead, Juliet will be able to sneak out of town without having the Capulets chasing after her.
When the nurse finds her in bed, not breathing and not responsive, she comes to the conclusion that Juliet is dead. Thanks Stephen Hawking. They meant why do they think she died. They think she was grieving over Tybalts death.
Juliet's mother would like Romeo dead.
its dramamtic irony because we all know that Juliet is not really dead but the people in the play do not.
NO!!!! no because Juliet agrees to marry Paris but Juliet is going to take the vial of "stuff" and they will think she is dead and Juliet and romeo will runaway and live together
Yes, but unlike Romeo, she is not mistaken. Romeo really is dead when she thinks so.
Lady Capulet imagines that Juliet is crying because Tybalt, Lady Capulet's kinsman and consequently also Juliet's, is dead.
Romeo killed himself because he believed Juliet was dead and he could not bear to live without her. His intense love for Juliet clouded his judgment and he acted impulsively. He may not have fully considered the impact of his actions on his family in the heat of the moment.
The nurse finds Juliet dead first.
The nurse found Juliet in the Capulet home. The watch found Juliet dead in the churchyard...........which one ???
