Benita Tankard (twin of Bonita Tankard) born and raised in Pensacola FL. Benita and her sister Bonita attended college in Tallahassee, FL where I first met her . Benita became a good and rather close friend during this time while married to Ben. She had a very jovial spirit about her as I remember her. She was even there with me when I gave birth to my first baby (in Panama City, FL and became the honorary "god mother". I can even remember Ben and Benita coming to local restaurants in Tallahassee and bringing their three little angels with them. They all took their mom's complexion of course (and some of her looks). Ben assisted me a lot in my musical endeavors while in Tallahassee and in fact was present and played at my wedding in Valdosta , GA. I was/am honored for God to place him into my life for that short time. And though I feel saddened by a beautiful family torn apart, I will always remember and be grateful to Ben for being such a blessing and an inspiration to my musical talents ....
