In the later part of the 19th century, Oswald schmiedeberg, regarded as the 'father of Pharmacology', together with his many disciples like J Langley, T Frazer, P Ehrlich, AJ Clark, JJ Abel propounded some of the fundamental concepts of Pharmacology.
