The only girlfriend we know about is the girl he ended up marrying, Anne Hathaway. The movie Shakespeare in Love postulates a girlfriend but this film is utter fiction. No such person as Viola de Lesseps ever really existed.

She was a musician from a Jewish Venetian family. She was married off to a minstrel named Lanier in a marriage arranged by Lord Hunsdon.
