Shakespeare gives us no detail of the poison Juliet uses. And although he does not give any detail, the poison most likely used would have been Canterella.

Canterella gave the illusion that the user was dead seeing as it cause it's victims to give no noticeable pulse. Victims were asleep for four hours.
