They weren't. The Admiral's Men were a theatrical company, the rival of The Lord Chamberlain's Men in the 1590s and of the Kings Men in the 1600s. They were led by the age's greatest actor, Ned Alleyn.

Before 1599 the Admiral's Men were permanently located at the Rose Theatre in Southwark south of the River and the City of London, whereas the Chamberlain's Men were at the Curtain Theatre to the north and east of the City. However in 1599 the principal shareholders of the Lord Chamberlain's Men built a newer, bigger and more beautiful theatre called the Globe Theatre in Southwark not far from the Rose. Henslowe, the owner of the Rose and one of Alleyn's chief associates, could see that the Rose could not compete with the Globe, so they built a newer, bigger, and even more spectacular theatre called The Fortune to the northwest of the City. This became the new home of the Admiral's Men. The Rose became the home of the third most important acting company at the time, Worcester's Men.

As you see, The Admiral's Men never played at the Globe, although it did affect their business strategy.

Who were the original owners of the globe?

The original owners of the Globe Theatre were the "Lord Chemberlain's Men". The were a acting group. And built it after they lost the lease of "The Theatre" in 1599.

What was the difference between the Globe Theatre and the Kings Men theater?

The King's Men performed regularly at The Globe Theatre and at Blackfriars Theatre, as well as at court and other places. To my knowledge there was not a theatre called 'The King's Men Theatre at that time. A little background: the King's Men was a company of actors that included William Shakespeare, and it was to this company that he belonged for most of his career. They used to be known as The Lord Chamberlain's Men during the reign of Queen Elizabeth, and when James succeeded to the throne he awarded the company a royal patent and they became known as The King's Men. Several members of The King's Men purchased shares in Blackfriars Theatre in 1608 and they performed there regularly. Shakespeare himself was a shareholder in The Globe Theatre from 1598. The Lord Chamberlain's Men and later The King's Men performed at The Globe Theatre regularly.

Where is the Globe Theatre Shakespeare?

The Globe Theatre was a theatre in London associated with William Shakespeare. It was built in 1599 by Shakespeare's playing company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men, and was destroyed by fire on 29 June 1613. A second Globe Theatre was built on the same site by June 1614 and closed in 1642. But neither of those theatres is Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Shakespeare's Globe Theatre was built in 1997 on a site very close to the site of the original Globe, which it imitates in many respects.

Is the globe theatre still used today?

The Globe Theatre The original Globe Theatre in London, England, was built in 1599 by the Lord Chamberlain's Men - a theatre company which included William Shakespeare. It was destroyed by a fire in 1613, rebuilt in 1614 and finally demolished in 1644. In 1997 a replica of the original theatre was built, close to the original site and is called Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

Chamberlains men were the actors, so they would play the nomal plays Shakespeare suggested. Shakespeare also sort of ushered in the Globe theatre with his writings.

What did the Globe theatre change their name to later?

It wasn't. The Globe was the name of one of the theatres they played. The New York Rangers are not the same as Madison Square Garden. Shakespeare's acting company was called The Lord Chamberlain's Men, and later, The King's Men.

What was globe theaters name after they changed it?

The Gielgud Theatre used to be called the Globe Theatre (from 1909 to 1994). But my guess is that's not the Globe Theatre you are thinking of. You probably are mixing up the Globe Theatre (a building where Shakespeare and others acted and which never changed its name) and the Lord Chamberlain's Men (a company or group of actors which performed in a number of different buildings, the Globe theatre included, which changed its name a number of times).
