A bibliography is a list of books or other resources used in writing a formal essay or thesis. The books are generally listed alphabetically by author. Which ones are closest to Shakespeare would therefore depend on which other books are in the list. If there are only two other books on the list, one by Aaron Aardvark and one by Zoe Zlotny, they are the two closest to Shakespeare. If there are a lot more, the closest ones will be the ones closest to Shakespeare alphabetically.
No. Shakepseare was never knighted. Persons of his social class never were. He worked like crazy to get a grant of arms which entitled him to call himself "Mister" and to put "gent" after his name. Mr. William Shakespeare, gent, was as fancy a title as he got.
William Shakespeare was born in April 1564 (actual date unknown, but his birthday is widely celebrated on April 23). He was baptized on April 26, 1564. His father was John Shakespeare, an alderman and a glove-maker. His mother was Mary Arden. John and Mary had eight children, of which William was the third. Hamnet and Judith Shakespeare, twins, and their older sister, Susanna, were William Shakespeare's children, by his wife, Ann Hathaway, who he married in 1582 when he was eighteen. Ann was aged 26, and was probably about three months pregnant with Susanna at their marriage. Henry Condell and John Herminges were friends of Shakespeare. Members of his acting company, the King's Men, they published the first collection of his plays. In his will, Shakespeare left money to them and to the leader of his acting company, Richard Burbage. Later in his life, Shakespeare was indirectly employed by royalty, when his acting company was sponsored by King James. It is highly unlikely that he was on speaking terms with any royal persons.
Understanding Shakespeare's Theatre helps one to understand his plays and why they were written in the way they were. This in turn is enormously important as educated persons the world over understand at least the most well-known of Shakespeare's plays, and everyone knows and constantly quotes lines drawn from those plays. Answer: It is not important.

Probably the most famous African main character in a play by William Shakespeare would be Othello - the "Moor of Venice". None of the characters in Shakespeare's plays were "American" in any sense, let alone "African-American". Scholars still debate whether he was supposed to be Arab or sub-Saharan. All that is certain is that he was dark skinned - but then again, most ethnic groups are darker skinned than most Elizabethan English persons were.
