The Python guys were able to use it free of charge for their show because the song is "in the public domain" meaning that, like "Battle Hymn of the Republic", it's intellectual property rights have expired, been fore fitted, or are inapplicable. Essentially, no charge.
Try Musicnotes.com they have a wide variety of songs from every genre. The songs typically cost around $5 a piece. If this is not in your budget try your local library, many libraries will even let you photocopy from books without having to take the book out.
The music is called "Placa Omondia" by Greek composer Mimis Plessas. I found it on the stock music compilation "Ren And Stimpy Production Music" (Vol. 1)
When working to come up with a script for a college dance competition, be sure to get the names of the music and the names of the contestants correct. If you do not know how to pronounce a name, find out ahead of time to avoid embarrassment on the day of the competition. If it is going to be a long competition, you may want to include an intermission.
