The booze got to her and she pretty much treated Dave like a rag doll. He was what she took all of her anger out on. All of the abuse started when she became and alcoholic. it was the alcohol. dave's mother drank a lot and took her anger out on dave. she treated him like a worthless piece of trash. she started abusing him whe she began drinking.
