The Globe Theatre was built in 1599, it was built out of some stolen lumber from a first theatre
Nobody really knows. People think it is either 14 or twenty. well the old theatre had 20 ( i think) but i do agree that the NEW theatre has 14 as you said! starfantasy!xx
The outside of the original Globe Theatre looked very much like Sam Wanamaker's modern Globe theatre in Southwark. We don't know what the original Globe looked like inside. (The inside of the modern Globe is copied from some drawings we have of the inside of the Star - a slightly less famous Jacobean theatre).
There were over 1500 people and the Globe Theatre was outdoors. Some say it could hold as many as 3000 people but a lot of them would not have been seated. The standing room seats were quite popular.
The Globe theatre was actually octagonal there isn't a real reason why some think so that all the audience can see the stage and others think it was so lots of people could see the play.

There were no rules and you know what people are really mean for not just making up some rules for people like me to copy
a big toilet.
Some say it was Shakespeare.
Actors during the Globe theatre era were not always looked upon favorably. They were often viewed as beggars and vagabonds. Women were not allowed to perform so young men played women's roles. The Globe theatre was constructed in 1599 and was a unique, elaborate theatre.
The Modern Globe theatre is based on the original design from Shakespears' time - so forget the heating. The audience is mainly standing, but there is some seating in the galleries.
The first Globe Theatre was destroyed by a fire in 1613, and then rebuilt in 1614. When the Purtain's succeeded in closing down theatre it was demolished in 1644. The new Globe theatre was opened in 1997, where it remains standing today. It does not stand in the same place as the original Globe theatre though.
