because the lower class of people couldn't afford and wasn't allowed to go to studios and dance so they had to dance on the streets and that is it evolved and because it was to get away from the crime and there bad backgrounds. that is also how the dance competitions started because they did it instead of shooting and killing other people. hope that helps a bit i think it is all right.
