The curtain was lowered during scene changes in theater to maintain the audience's engagement and prevent them from seeing the behind-the-scenes activities. This practice creates a seamless transition between scenes, preserving the illusion of the performance. Additionally, it allows stagehands to work quickly and efficiently without distracting the audience from the story being told.
Flats if you are talking about stage drama are the left and right side of the stage. Normally hung with curtains which can swivel to facilitate access in to the wings. In the Flats are hung in such a way as to make the stage seem wide and close to the audience stage front and will hang closer in to the stage as you move to stage rear. This is the illusion of being faraway the further back the actor moves. In Many stage drama the FLATS are solid and are part of the scenery i.e a door or wall - These move in to the sage for the scene and out again when the scene changes Above these, across the stage (left to right) are the SKIRTS. These hide the lights. these also are hung in such a way as to make the "ceiling" of the look like its in perspective with the side(FLATS) Above the skirts and lighting you have - The Flies. Named because stagehands would lower at high speed, scenery and curtains with background painted on them - then at the end of the scene they would lift them very quickly as the scene changed so they would FLY in the the roof space.
status mean like you are judging someone else on there level ex: if you are the boss of a company you have the higher status your employments has the lower status
Proscenium (or end-on) when an audience sits on one side, normally at a lower height, facing the acting area.In-The-Round when the audience sits on all sides. The stage does not need to be circle but there are seats all around it.Traverse when the audience sits on two sides.
In drama, status can be shown through body language, vocal tone, and dialogue. Characters with higher status often exhibit confident posture, controlled movements, and assertive speech, while those with lower status may display closed-off body language, hesitant speech, and submissive behaviors. Additionally, the way characters interact with each other—such as who interrupts whom or who makes decisions—can further illustrate their social hierarchy. Costumes and props can also signify status, enhancing the visual representation of power dynamics in the narrative.
Slightly lower and a tad higher are indefinite. The key of the song may be changed up or down to accomodate a singers range. You may try move the song up so its easier for the female part and drop your part down an octave so maybe you can sing lower. But the interval relationships must remain the same or the song will sound 'different'.
Lisa pulled a curtain back to examine the sky. He lowered the curtain, dropping the room into darkness. The curtain rose again. The curtain often shows several conspicuous folds, and the lower edge often resembles frilled drapery.
Please lower your tone of voice. The shelf needed to be a little bit lower. If it was any lower it would fall off.

Air pressure changes when the hot water generates warmer air, thus like the weather, wind (or in this case a small draft upwards) is generated. Air pressure and current causes the shower curtain to move as cooler air is sucked under and around the curtain.
When you have a hot shower steam is generated and, because it is warmer than the surrounding air, it rises. As the steam flows upwards, cooler air flows in to the lower level of the shower. If the shower is not fully enclosed, the steam will flow out the top of the shower area and the cooler air will flow in near the base of the shower. If the air cannot easily get around the curtain, it will push it inwards as it flows past. Ways to address this are:fully enclosing the shower to keep the steam inweighting the curtain basehaving significant gaps beside the curtain to let air inhanging the curtain so it is held against the shower base lip by its own weight by positioning the rail well outside (>100mm beyond) the line of the base. (This will mean that if the curtain swings outside the shower base it will drip on the floor, so needs a high lip to hold the curtain in.)This effect is caused by a small reduction in the air pressure of the column of air that is inside the shower curtain. The reduction is caused by the pressure of the water being sprayed out of the shower head having to drop from a higher pressure towards normal atmospheric air pressure. This effect is known as the Venturi Effect. The air does not quite reach normal atmospheric pressure until it gets out of the column of air formed by the shower curtain. Because that column of air is at a lower pressure than the air outside the curtain, the curtain gets pressed inwards by the higher (but normal) air pressure in the rest of the room. This effect happens the same no matter if the water temperature is hot, medium or cold.

You can thank Mr. Bernoulli for this answer: As a fluid's velocity increases, its pressure decreases. (The term fluid includes liquids and gases.) The water spray moving through the air causes the air to move along with it. As the air and spray moves between your body and the curtain it needs to move faster because your body narrows its path. For the water and air to move faster, it must lose pressure. The pressure of the air on the other side of the curtain is unchanged so it pushes the curtain towards you. Try this: Take a piece of paper (to represent the curtain) and hold it near a wall or a cup (to represent you). Now, with a straw, blow through the gap between "you" and the "curtain". You'll see the same effect.
About 5 to 7 inches. Though higher or lower is no drama.
Whoever told you never to go on batman the ride, don't listen to them. It is a very nice ride, just the scenery can lower your confidence.
The downward movement of the water in the shower creates downward movement in the air inside the shower area. Air flow causes low pressure and so the air pressure from outside the shower area is able to push the curtain inwards.
I believe the lower balljoints can be changed , but the upper control arm assembly with the balljoint has to be changed
'Lower the boom' - to scold or punish strictly Origin: A boom is a long pole used on ships. Booms are also used backstage in theatres to move scenery. If someone actually lowered a boom upon your head, you would be knocked out!
