At some point in the rehearsal process it becomes impossible for the cast to learn or develop the production any further without an audience. A preview is still officially a rehearsal, and if anything goes wrong at any point, the director can stop the production. These performances are when the most development happens because the cast is finally working with the energy and response of a real audience. This allows them a chance to polish before opening night.

What is wrong with the sentence Wayang Kulit performances lasts all night?

The sentence "Wayang Kulit performances lasts all night" contains a subject-verb agreement error. The plural subject "performances" should be matched with the plural verb "last," so the correct sentence should read, "Wayang Kulit performances last all night." Additionally, it could be improved by specifying that these performances often last throughout the night.
