No, Tybalt and Benvolio are enemies in Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet." Tybalt is hot-headed and quick to engage in fights, while Benvolio tries to keep the peace. Tybalt's death at Romeo's hands ultimately leads to tragedy instead of peace.
He is a Capulet who hates peace and likes fighting.

That's a Shakespeare quote from Romeo and Juliet by Tybalt.
The original quotation is "I hate the word as I hate all hell..."Tybalt says, "Peace? That's ridiculous. I hate the idea of "peace" as much as I hate hell, as much as I hate the Montague family, and as much as I hate you! Now I will fight you, you coward!"
romeo was so happy about getting married to Juliet the love he was feeling could not be taken over by Tybalt's fury.
Benvolio wanted to stop the fighting and prevent any further violence between Romeo and Tybalt. He tried to intervene and keep the peace, but Tybalt was determined to fight.
