Hmm... if you mean why do authors sometimes write anonymously, then I think that the answer is that they don't want to call attention to themselves. There could be several reasons... some people are natural introverts and would rather not be in the spotlight. Some write about things that might cause them problems if it were publicly known. Some people believe that the work should speak for itself, and that the author shouldn't matter... kind of a gift to the world sort of thing. In other cases, the poem might be "anonymous" just because someone copied it from someplace without copying the author's name.
Sometimes. Poetry today is written in countless styles. It can offer the challenge of very rigid restrictions, dictating many things, such as meter, rhyming patterns, and length. And it can have punctuation. Or not. And it can be freestyle, without any order at all. Most of the poets popular today write freestyle. Yes, poems can have periods.

In MLA format, when citing an essay with two authors, list both authors' last names in the in-text citation. For the Works Cited page, list the authors in the order they appear in the essay, followed by the title of the essay, the title of the book or publication it appears in, the editor (if applicable), the publisher, and the publication date.
Authors write books, articles, or other written content. They come up with ideas, research topics, outline the structure of their work, write drafts, revise, edit, and proofread to create a final product. Additionally, authors often collaborate with publishers, editors, and agents to get their work published and reach a wider audience.
