It didn't get delivered, because Friar John, who was supposed to deliver it, was quarantined.

∙ 13y agoThe Friar wasn't aloud to enter the city were Romeo was in case he had been looking after sick people ( at the time there was a disease and so they couldn't deliver the letter. Unfortunately Friar John hadn't been able to get to Romeo in time before he killed himself with poison.

Well friar john went to go check on a patient and they wouldn't let him leave bc of his patients disease, so he couldn't deliver it.
