I suppose it could exist, but what good would it do to exist if there was no one there to observe and practice it?
Philosophy comes from the words philo=love and sophia=knowledge/wisdom. Philosophy tries to solve the problems that aren't tangible. Like existence, knowledge, metaphysics etc. The philosophy of man is philosophy that focuses on man and its problems. For example government, schooling and law.
Epicurus' death quote, "Death does not concern us, because as long as we exist, death is not here. And when it does come, we no longer exist," reflects his philosophy that death is not to be feared as it is simply the absence of consciousness. This belief allows individuals to focus on living a happy and fulfilling life without being consumed by the fear of death.
The concept of "if you can't see it, it doesn't exist" in philosophy is known as empiricism. Empiricism is the belief that knowledge comes primarily from sensory experience and that things that cannot be observed or measured do not have real existence.
The main focus of the mode philosophy is to understand the ways in which things exist and interact in the world, particularly in terms of their characteristics, properties, and relationships.
The philosophy of man, also known as anthropology, explores the nature of humankind, including questions about existence, ethics, and consciousness. It delves into the fundamental characteristics that define humanity and investigate the purpose and meaning of human life. Philosophers like Sartre, Nietzsche, and Kant have contributed to shaping this branch of philosophy.
This is totally dependant on your philosophy and what you mean by this question. Simply, the world CAN exist without man (as it did for billions of years before us, and more than likely will continue to exist without us), and man could exist without "world". Looking deeper, and if by "world", you mean "culture" (or some analog thereof), it is because the very definition of "culture" requires the action of "man". Conversely, everyone draws on "culture" ("world") in some fashion.
A school cannot exist without a curriculum and curriculum is the heart of teaching. A strong belief or philosophy is needed for a curriculum to exist.
Yes. Your question should be changed to: will man exist without God. No. He made us, he can live without us.
yes
No, because philosophy by definition is the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct. Without man there is no investigation, nor any beings to investigate. Asking for a separation would be asking for thought without a mind.
The study of man and its philosophy in life is the philosophy of man. It is subdivided into several branches that include ethics.
Without necessity there can be no creativity! Man only creates when it is necessary. Philosophy is necessary for man to live civil!
It is not.
Humans are a sociable animal. We are not meant to exist in total isolation without suffering mental instability.
Man created philosophy, hence it's flawed.
man in dialogue
From what I understand of the two, existentialism is the philosophy that man must create their own meaning of life without outside social influences and absurdism is the philosophy that man cannot find the any meaning in the world because the world is meaningless.
