This is the story, about four and a half months ago I was in the best shape of my life, going to the gym everyday and going hiking every week. Now I was Only eighteen but I was working fifty six hours a week at Westport shipyard, and making over four grande a month. Life was good!
Four and a half months ago I tore my ACL ligament, one month later I had re constructive knee surgery to repair the ACL and the other damaged ligaments. I spent two and a half months in my bed getting high and getting drunk.
Now, going on three months after surgery I am slowly becoming able to walk better, I can now take stairs relatively easy, but I am still unable to run.
When you are 18 you are immortal, you have a sense of fearlessness that nobody can shatter, you play scenarios in your head where you kick peoples asses easy and defeat the strongest martial artists. Now my world is Fragile, not just my body but everything in my world feels like it could be easily ripped away and never given back.
I met this girl that I am so in love with its not funny, but I am afraid that she is going to leave, or something will separate us. I worry so much that I am smothering her trying not to let go when nothing really pulling us apart.
