in science, the truth is generally found by mathematical or logical theories and experiments.in case it is not possible to confirm the theory experimentally, mathematical evidence is considered sufficient.
The ultimate truth is the fundamental reality or knowledge that is considered to be the most accurate and unchanging. It is often sought after in philosophy, religion, and science as a way to understand the deepest aspects of existence.
According to truth-conditional theories of meaning, the meaning of a sentence is determined by its truth conditions, or the circumstances under which the sentence would be true or false. In other words, the meaning of a sentence is tied to its truth value in different scenarios, and understanding the meaning of a sentence involves understanding what would make it true or false.
Modern philosophy is characterized by a focus on reason, science, and objective truth, while postmodern philosophy questions the existence of objective truth and emphasizes the importance of individual perspectives, language, and power dynamics.
This phrase, often found in religious or symbolic contexts, means to be prepared or equipped with truth as a guiding principle. "Loins girt about you with truth" suggests being mentally and emotionally prepared, armored with honesty and integrity. It signifies being ready to face challenges or adversities with a foundation of truth and authenticity.
Ah...a question for the ages. Many have claimed to know the answer to this. There is a Buddhist answer, a Hindu answer, a Christian answer, an Islamic answer...and so on.If there are many answers, is it truth? There are also scientific answers, mathematical answers, philosophical answers, and pragmatic answers. And there are many who say that the truth, if there is such a thing, cannot be known; that real capital-T Truth is beyond human understanding. The best place to look is within yourself. When you seek the truth, no matter where you arrive, it will meet some people's definitions of 'truth' and not others'. Some will say you are right, some will say you are wrong, and some will say that they don't know. Some will say that the only truth to be found is what you find when you are not looking. Some will say that THEY KNOW THE RIGHT ANSWER and that everyone who disagrees with them is damned. Some will say there are many kinds of truth, and some will say there is only one absolute truth, make that Absolute Truth, and it just happens to be what they believe in. And some will keep saying (a) that they don't know and (b) that it doesn't matter whether they know or not because it isn't going to change anything they do.I happen to think that there is such a thing as Truth and that knowing it is not something we ordinary humans can achieve; so I settle for relative truth, in the belief that some truth is better than no truth.
There is no clash between the truth in science and the gospel. All truth is truth wherever it is found. Science is based on investigation as is knowing whether the gospel is true, when both come to the same truth there is harmony.
You have not told us which Ultimate Truth you are asking about.
In my opinion, science is the truth although there are no definite answer to theories in science. Though, to have a theory out of science, one must have sufficient evidence to support the theory.
Science is far and away the best arbiter of truth humans possess.
Science does not really deal in ultimate truth, it only deals in reasonable conclusions.
So you can be trustworthy....
Science is the culture of truth and reason, science is its language.
logic and truth?
In science, everything must be questioned in order to find the truth. In religion, it is assumed the truth is known but must never be questioned.
Science uses rigorous reasoning; pseudoscience uses sloppy reasoning. Science is a sincere effort to discover truth, whatever that truth may be; pseudoscience is used to sell fraudulent products, and is not actually concerned with truth.
Science is always about the quest for truth. Some aspects of it may be frightening or upsetting.
