Socrates taught Plato, who in turn taught Aristotle. Socrates had a significant influence on Plato's philosophy, which in turn shaped Aristotle's views and teachings. Aristotle developed his own philosophical ideas while also building upon Plato's work.

Her name is now synonymous with a shrewish wife. Socrates was married to Xanthippe and had one son with her. At the same time he had a girlfriend named Myrto. He had two sons with Myrto. Some writters claim at last he married Myrto.Xanthippe may have become such a nagging and shrew wife because Socrates wouldn't except money for his philosophy meetings. This left them broke to properly raise a family.
There are a number of reasons why the Sophists didn't like Socrates (and he didn't like them). One of the main ones is that Socrates was offering to philosophize for free while the sophists charged money for their services. They also had a different end goal in mind while discussing things with others. The sophists wanted to impart their knowledge onto others and make themselves seem wise. Socrates wanted to talk with the interlocutor in hopes that both him and the person to whom he talked could leave the conversation enlightened.
Socrates was born Born in either 469 or 470 BC (the exact year is still disputed), whereas Confucius was born 551 BCE, making Confucius' the one who "came first;" however, Confucius' ideas were little known until the Han dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE), whereas Socrates' thoughts (written down by Plato, whom was his student) were proliferated soon after his death.
Socrates was near the end of his life when executed. He knew that in his death he could accomplish more than what he could in exile. Socrates was in prison for awhile, and had friends whom had a plot to get him escaped. He denied it, because he was put in there because of the law and even though the law may be wrong he still had to obey it. Therefore, he did not try to defy them and escape.
