This question actually can not be answered because everyone has their own opinions. Some people think he was a good person because he contributed to science greatly through his research and inventions. However, some people think that he was a bad person because he invented the atomic bomb which was used for mass destruction in wars ever since. I do not know much about Einstein, however if you do some research, you can decide for yourself if he was a good or bad man.

Attributing cleverness to one's enemy makes him a great adversary. That way, if you suffer defeat by your enemy, even on a small level, it does not make you look bad, since you have made it known that he is very clever, etc. Conversely, if you defeat your enemy, you look much greater than if you had defeated anyone else, because you have triumphed over a very clever and capable foe.
