Stealing is always wrong according to what philosopher?

Kant would argue that stealing is always wrong, as it violates the categorical imperative that states that one should act only according to maxims that can be willed to be universal laws. Thus, stealing cannot be morally justified under Kant's ethical framework.

What are examples of imperfect duties and how do they differ from perfect duties?

Imperfect duties are obligations that are not always required to be fulfilled, such as helping others or developing one's talents. They differ from perfect duties, which are obligations that must always be followed, like not lying or stealing.

The end justify the means or the means justify the end?

It's "the end justifies the means" meaning if you're doing something wrong but for a good reason it's ok. Like Robin Hood stealing from the rich....stealing is wrong but he's giving to or helping the poor in the end. The good deed in the end makes the bad deed seem ok.

What is a conscience?

The conscience is the part of you that tells you when you are doing wrong. If you consider stealing something for instance, some part of you will most likely be against it... that is the conscience.

What is an example of an imperfect duty and how does it differ from a perfect duty?

An example of an imperfect duty is helping others in need, as it is not always required in every situation. Imperfect duties allow for personal discretion and choice in how they are fulfilled. In contrast, perfect duties, such as not lying or stealing, are always binding and must be followed without exception.
