He is mostly only written about in a posotive way, because he has to deal with what his men do to him, and all of the suffering he causes. You may believe that he was a cheater, and did not stay truthful to his wife. He stayed with a woman for a year and so on, but he still didnt actually cheat on her. He stayed faithful, along with Penelope. That is the most talked about concept of the story, because they both stayed true to each other, even when they were both continuously tempted through their twenty years apart, so do not write about cheating. He is easily distracted, can have some bad insight, and can be just plain unlucky.
