On a biological level a man's primal urge is to spread his seed to as many females as possible. So one could say that at the base instinctual level a man's aim in life is to solely reproduce. That is because he is part of Animal Kingdom. But a man with brain has deeper role to play. I will give an example

All persons plan each day (Routine Work). But if we analyze there are so many things that happen unexpectedly in our lives for which we had not planned. What is the truth behind this? Is our life predestined and we just act on the lines written for us. The answer to this is Humans have control on their senses but destiny is in control of God. He is the ultimate being that decides the path on which we travel through our lives. Aim of humans is to follow God's instructions and find peace and happiness in path he has chosen for us.
