St. Philip was canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church on March 12, 1622 by Pope Gregory XV.
Every blessed that becomes a saint has to have at least 2 miracles, passed away, and be approved by the pope to be canonized. So I'm not sure what his miracles were but he must have answered someones prayers!
