regular pencils are better because mechanical pencils are risky because children are most likely to play with them then they snap and that's just wasting it and you have to use more and more led each time. regular is better because they are solid and firm not fiddly with and they just need to be sharpened regularly and in my opinion they are just easier to use. as you become older and have full responsibility with the mechanical pencil then your able to have more control with it you wont have to worry about wasting led thank hope it helps

I was wondering where to buy cute mechanical pencil. Well online you can go to papermate they have lots of pencils. Also some stores with office supplies have them. Staples has it and Office Depot. I ussually buy the machanical pencils I use at CVS or walgreens.
