This is one of the questions I would answer with more questions.

Put yourself in the situation of a slave.

How would you react to loose your freedom?

How would you react to be forced to do work without any benefits and pay?

How would you react if you had children that also became slaves?

How would you react to be forced away from your country to do often very unhealthy work just because some people had the physical power and means to do so?

After you have answered these questions in regards to yourself, you would know why it was wrong to have slaves.

Slave-business is the darkest trade in human history.
