Jean Valjean was sent to prison for stealing a loaf of bread to feed his sister's family, an act born out of poverty. His harsh treatment in prison and later struggles to find work and acceptance in society could be seen as reasons for his resentment towards society, but ultimately his transformation into a compassionate and honorable man shows that his hatred was not justifiable.
Reason was a major concept in Enlightenment thinking, with philosophers emphasizing the use of reason and logic to understand the world and improve society. Enlightenment thinkers believed that reason could lead to progress, freedom, and the betterment of human society.
Humanists wanted to reform society by promoting education, critical thinking, and human potential. They believed that by emphasizing reason, ethics, and individualism, society could progress and create a better world for all. They aimed to empower individuals to think independently and make positive contributions to society.
Historians called the Age of Reason the Enlightenment because it was a time when intellectual and philosophical ideas focused on reason, science, and individual liberty emerged as dominant principles in European society. Enlightenment thinkers believed that reason and knowledge could be used to improve society and challenge traditional authority and dogma.
It caused people to question what they thought was right.
The leading Enlightenment ideals include reason, individualism, skepticism of authority, and a belief in progress through the application of science and reason to society. These ideals emphasized the importance of questioning traditional beliefs and institutions and striving for freedom, equality, and tolerance in society.
This question relates to the story of Les Miserables, a French novel by Victor Hugo, often adapted as a play and sometimes called 'The Bishop's Candlesticks'. Jean Valjean is a former convict whose faith in humanity is restored when he comes into contact with a kind bishop. Jean Valjean is bitter and hateful towards society due to injustices meted out to him. When he was unemployed and his wife was starving, he had been forced to steal a loaf of bread, but got caught and imprisoned, and his wife died. Even after having served time in prison, Jean Valjean cannot get easily integrated into society, and is marked as a criminal, making it difficult for him to find work and shelter. These reasons combine to make him bitter and hateful, until he meets the kind Bishop.
A good reason or any reason at all would be justifiable if you still want him as a boyfriend.
And what is your reason for asking this question?
yes it depends on the crime from state to state
yes it depends on the crime from state to state
when someone hates on you, if you know the reason and its a pathetic reason, then that's when you start hating on them too, and if they start abusing you and stuff, that's the moment to punch then square in the face. But if you ont know the reason why theyre hating on you then you ask them why, and try and sort it out.
The reason anyone is in prison is conviction, a guilty sentence.
Of course it is, there is never a good or justifiable reason to cheat. Its better to just get out of the relationship your in then to cheat on the person.
NOT hating yourself is a good thing. Is there some reason you think you should ?

Breaking a law is not generally acceptable, as laws are in place to maintain order in society. In situations where a law conflicts with moral principles or fundamental human rights, civil disobedience may be considered justified as a last resort. It is important to consider the consequences and potential alternatives before deciding to break a law for a justifiable reason.
