I'm not quite sure what you mean as "progress". It appears to be a technology that somebody would have developed sometime in the timeframe of the 1940s, 1950s, or 1960s, even if WW2 had not accelerated the "need" for it. The idea of the neutron chain reaction required for it had already been patented in 1934 by Leo Szilard and the Uranium fission reaction needed to make it work had already been discovered in 1939 by Otto Hahn. The main thing that limits it is the specialized industrial infrastructure that needs to be developed to prepare the components. However it has more or less been shown that for a country sized entity, this takes roughly 4 years from decision to proceed to ability to make bombs.
The circumference of an atomic bomb explosion can vary depending on the size and yield of the bomb. In general, the blast radius of a typical atomic bomb explosion can extend several miles from the epicenter.
The atomic bomb was developed during World War II as part of the Manhattan Project. The project was spearheaded by the United States and led by scientists such as J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is often credited as the "father of the atomic bomb."
An atomic bomb is a type of nuclear weapon that releases energy through nuclear fission (splitting of atomic nuclei). Nuclear weapon is a broader term that encompasses atomic bombs, as well as hydrogen bombs which release energy through nuclear fusion (combining atomic nuclei).
Scientists worked quickly on the atomic bomb during World War II due to the urgency of the war effort. There was concern that Nazi Germany was also working on developing such a weapon, and the desire to end the war quickly played a significant role in the swift progress of the Manhattan Project.
The atomic bomb test site was named the Trinity Test Site. It was located in New Mexico, USA, and was where the first atomic bomb was successfully detonated on July 16, 1945.
I don't think anyone has seen an atomic bomb and lived, but so say about 3 to 4 days.
If you consider the US atomic bomb is a Christian bomb, the French atomic bomb is also Christian bomb and so on, then you can name the Pakistani atomic bomb an Islamic bomb.
how was the atomic bomb repaired
18th May1998, but its not atomic bomb (its nuclear bomb)
porket may atomic , bomb agad,
Germany never had an atomic bomb.
the us created the atomic bomb
the atomic bomb was not discovered, it was invented then built.
It was both: an atomic bomb using uranium as its fuel.
Most Americans did not really understand the atomic bomb, they were elated that the war was over. Some families had not seen their military family members in three or four years.
yes, have you ever seen an Atomic Bomb blast! Well that is the splitting od atoms.
In general, a fusion bomb (hydrogen bomb) is more powerful than a fission (atomic) bomb. Fusion bombs use an atomic bomb to begin the fusion reaction.
