The Fraunhofer zone is a region far away from a radiating source where electromagnetic waves become approximately parallel and have a stable wavefront. In this zone, the wave characteristics are mainly determined by the spatial distribution of the source rather than the distance traveled. This zone is commonly utilized in fields such as antenna theory and optics for analyzing wave propagation.
The radiative zone is hotter than the convection zone. In the radiative zone, energy is transferred through electromagnetic radiation, while in the convection zone, energy is transferred through the movement of hot gas or plasma.
The five transverse zones are the equatorial zone, subtropical zone, temperate zone, subpolar zone, and polar zone. These zones are based on latitude and help classify different regions of the Earth's surface based on their climate and temperature patterns.
In the radiative zone of a star, energy is transferred through electromagnetic radiation (photons) as it travels from the core to the convective zone. In contrast, in the convective zone, energy is transferred by the physical movement of hot gas or plasma through convection currents.
The convective zone, energy is transferred much faster that it is in the radiative zone.
This is a quiet zone.
"The Quite Zone of an anechoic chamber is a defined volume within the chamber where a Device Under Test (DUT) is to be placed for evaluation. Quiet Zone Probing is accomplished by moving a probe antenna through the Quiet Zone to determine the level of extraneous signals entering the volume." (from Sirles, C.W., et al., "Anechoic Chamber Performance Characterization Using Spherical Near-Field Imaging Techniques") In other words, a quite zone is a specific volume inside the anechoic chamber, wherein the level of RF power does not exceed a certain limit. The "quiteness" of the zone is a function of signal frequency, i.e. different frequencies will correspond to different RF levels within the quite zone volume.

By definition, an active war zone is any zone or area that is currently experience battle from war. It can also include any area that is at risk of spontaneous battle resulting from a current war.
