no it causes it to fall
Things float in the air when the force of buoyancy (upward force exerted by air or a fluid) is greater than the force of gravity (downward force pulling objects toward the earth). This is known as buoyancy and is what allows objects to float or stay suspended in a fluid or gas like air.
Buoyancy is the force that causes things to rise or float in a fluid, such as water or air. This force is exerted in the opposite direction to the force of gravity, making objects appear to be lighter when submerged in a fluid.
Gravity is a force that pulls you down to the centre of a planet. If it was zero gravity you wouldn't be pulled down. Earth is the only planet that has gravity that's why you "float" in space. I hope this has helped.
An object will sink if its density - or its specific gravity - is greater than that of the fluid it is placed in.
No, you do not float in space. In space, there is no gravity to pull you down, so you would float freely.
there is no gravity in space
it helps things to not float
cause gravity pulls us down and doesn't let us float
It is quite common for various things to float in water. But any liquid can cause things to float.
They don't float away because of gravity
It feels like you are weightless, and you can float in the air like you float on water. Houses and other structures would float, too, and you would not be able to live --- or build --- a house that easily. If there was no gravity, things would not stay on the ground, so we need gravity to make sure we do not float to the atmosphere. Things would float, obviously. But if there were a limited amount of gravity released, then certain objects would float, but if ALL the gravity were released out, then almost 99.9% of things on earth would float. Humans definitely will float, in any range of 1% to 99% non- gravitational. I'm not too sure about buildings though ^-^
No they don't. The force of gravity is too great.
Levitation is to rise or cause to rise into the air and float in apparent defiance of gravity.
gravity
whe can in the found like rocks and other things but thes rocks are not just ordinary rocks.rocks cannot float if there is no gravity and that's why they are not ordinary rocks because they do not float even gravity is present.
Water, wind, gravity.
