Yes, we are more dependent on electricity now than people were in the past. Electricity powers almost every aspect of modern life, from lighting and heating to communication and transportation. Our reliance on electricity has grown significantly with the advancement of technology and the evolution of our society.
Water wheels are not as commonly used to generate electricity as they were in the past due to limitations in efficiency and scalability. Modern hydropower technology, such as turbines, is more efficient and can generate larger amounts of electricity. Additionally, water wheels are limited in their ability to generate power in variable flow conditions.
It produces a magnetic field. Vice versa, when you run a magnet past a wire you generate an electric current. Electricity and magnetism are related. If you have electricity you can generate magnetism, if you have a magnet you can produce electricity.
Hydro-electricity comes from river water turning turbines, but it is just the same as any other electricity. It is fed into the electricity grid and sent into homes and factories to boil water, cook chickens and produce hybrid cars.
They force water past turbines,
In the USA, and most of the world, virtually everyone has electricity to their homes and use electricity.Solar and Wind power now as allowed a few people to use "off grid" power sources for their homes (lights and etc).It is possible to purchase refrigerators that run off of propane or natural gas if there is inadequate power to run a refrigerator, so in the past some people would run generators only when they needed extra electricity. However, that is rare today.
They are dependent on wives
when there was no electricity we would have to wash our laundry with our own bare hands. we would have to send letters using the pigeon.
to my mind, our live is more better than it was in the past,,everything is more developed, technologies, medicines, and so on..
People write about now because of how things are getting more terrible by the minute. In the present and in the past much happened but it also took longer in the past to write.
In the past life was hard and there was nothing to do all the things.
past: horses and carraiges present: engines and electricity.
Electrical use in the past is the same as it it used today. Not as many appliances then as now but electricity still made everyday tasks easier.
An overall increase of standard of living means more people are connected to the electrical grid, using up more power. At the same time, political pressure has made it harder to spend money on building powerplants and power lines.
Sometimes they do, but not as in the past when there were more tigers.
electricity is widely used today because otherwise we wouldn't have computers and TVs. the reason many people believe electricity to be a thing of the past, is because there are so many debates about whether we should be using it and how we should generate electricity. no matter what the source is fore the electricity it is always the same end product.
The past tense of the word "depend" is "depended".
I think it's less-although we are in contact with more people.
