Because all soda is carbonated the longer it is open the less "frizzy" it will be.

As the carbonated soda and flavored syrup are exposed to air they release carbon dioxide gas which release and do not recombine with the liquid.

Depending on the level of carbonation it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for all of the the co2 to escape.

Don't try this on beer or champagne unless you are conducting a well funded scientific experiment.

Crushing a bottle of soda does not affect its fizziness. The carbonation in soda is primarily determined by the pressure inside the bottle, not its shape. Once the bottle is opened, carbonation starts to escape regardless of its physical state.

AnswerKeep the soda Cold, also the more air the soda has the less fizz its going to have so if you can pour your 2-litre into smaller containers with a tight cap, the fizz will last for months.

AnswerActually, when you pour soda it also loses fizz. The best thing to do is squeeze the excess air out of the 2 liter bottle. Just sqeeze the bottle until the remaining soda is as close to the top without spilling out and cap it up again.

I suppose that a difference doesn't exist for the same drink and from the same producer, opened at the same temperature, during the guarantee period under specified storage conditions.

It is possible that crushing a bottle of soda will keep it fizzy for longer. This is because it limits the amount of gas that can escape.

Would a fizzy drink be fizzier if it was left on a table or in a fridge?

A fizzy drink would likely stay fizzier if it was left in the fridge rather than on a table, as the lower temperature slows down the release of gas from the liquid. Storing the drink in the fridge can help maintain carbonation levels and keep it fizzy for longer.

How long will mulled wine last i have an unopened bottle?

Cheap wines are made and sold to be drunk immediately. They will not improve with age. You could keep a bottle of cheap red or white in a drinkable condition for about three years, but it won't be as good as the day you bought it.

Keep it cold and in a container without a lot of empty space in it. 2-liter bottles are terrible for this, but you can buy a lid with a pump to pressurize the bottle and keep the CO2 from escaping.
