First you spelt dielectric wrong.---boo

second there is a method of spreading ,it uses glitter polymers to act as reflectors ,but it just matters what substance you are refering too.

Which describes a substance with a high index of refraction?

Silicon, with an index of 3.96, is the lowest I could find.

Why micro strip line is called open strip line in microwave engineering?

It consists of dielctric substrate with a strip conductor on one side and complete conducting layer on the other. It is basically an open structure and requires high dielectric constant substrate to confine the fields near the strip conductor

What describes a substance with a high index of refraction?

It causes light to slow down significantly.

Will a given volume of a substance with high density be heavy or light?

Compared to a low density substance and all other things being equal, it would be heavier.

Difference between electrolytic and non-electrolytic capacitors?

Electrolytic Capacitors:1. It provides high capacitance in small volume.2. It has got polarity.3. It is not suitable for high frequencies due to losses in dielectrics.4. It is generally available in 1-100 µF rangeNon-Electrolytic Capacitors:1. Its capacitance depends on dielctric constant of the bulk.2. It doesn't have polarity.3. It is widely used at all frequencies.4. It ranges from pico Farads to fractions of µF.

A substance that has high reactivity does what?

A substance that has high reactivity displaces dissolved oxygen.

Is a solid have a high or low volume?

Density is dependent on mass and volume. Density is not a fixed constant for all substances either. The measure of density is by substance based on the above factors.

What does a high Hansch hydrophobicity constant show?

A high Hansch hydrophobicity constant implies that the molecule is lipophilic.

Does oxygen react to light acid air or water?

Oxygen does not react with air or water. Nothing actually "reacts" with light as it is not a substance. It can induce a reaction in some substance, but not oxygen. Oxygen will, however react with some acids mostly organic ones, at high temperatures.

Why the wave length is decreased when the light passes from low medium to high medium in index?

-- Higher refractive index for a substance means light travels slower through that substance. -- The rate at which the electric and magnetic fields in the wave are wiggling (the frequency) doesn't change, regardless of what substance the wave is moving through. -- The distance between wiggles is the wavelength. Since the light is progressing slower through the substance, it can't cover as much distance between wiggles.

Does magnolia rush test positive?

NO, it does not test positive for cannabis or any other substance because it is simply not a substance, I'm on probation and have to submit random UA's and my urine is always clean despite my constant smoking, it's nice when you can no longer smoke pot, but still get high!

Why energy at constant pressure greater more than at constant volume?
