when unplug ed and plug ed the power switch relay will make click if supply is in working condition to circuit. so compressor if not working the means no sound then definately it is in problem.
If the compressor in a refrigerator stopped working, the heat transfer cycle would be disrupted because the compressor is responsible for circulating refrigerant and compressing it to remove heat from the interior of the refrigerator. Without the compressor, the refrigerant cannot absorb heat from the interior and release it to the surroundings, resulting in a lack of cooling inside the refrigerator.
Normally, there is only one compressor in each refrigerator. The compressor helps in cooling the inside cabins of the refrigerator.
The failure of the compressor in a refrigerator disrupts the heat transfer cycle by stopping the circulation of refrigerant. Without the compressor, the refrigerant cannot be compressed to release heat outside the refrigerator, leading to a breakdown in the cooling process and a rise in temperature inside the refrigerator.
The compressor is the part of a household refrigerator that cools the air. The function is absorption but the compressor creates the absorption.
A 1920s refrigerator typically operated using a compressor that circulated a refrigerant through a system of coils. The refrigerant absorbed heat from inside the refrigerator, cooling the interior space. The compressor then compressed the refrigerant, raising its temperature and releasing the absorbed heat outside the refrigerator.

it is the compressor because it is a working machine ............... :P
Depends on refrigerator. Some are 1/25 others could be 1/40, still others could be higher. There is a data plate on the compressor that will tell you the HP.

To reset a refrigerator compressor, unplug the refrigerator for about 5 minutes and then plug it back in. This can help reset the compressor and potentially resolve any issues it may be experiencing.
There could be several reasons why your Samsung refrigerator has stopped working, such as a malfunctioning compressor, a faulty thermostat, or a problem with the power supply. It is recommended to contact a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
Depending on the refrigerator, it's TYPICALLY a "rotary vane" compressor, but that's not always the case.
if its plugged in and when you open the door the light is on
My refrigerator was not cooling. I've replaced a brand new condenser fan motor and both the fans are working fine. Tech suggested that it might be lown on freon. Can you tell me how can we figure out whether it is low on freon? Also, what else might be a problem. Compressor seems to be working fine. I've SAMSUNG refrigerator
