How ar geysers formed?

Geyers are fountains of water and steam. They form when that steam builds up pressure underground and erupts at regular intervals. What causes geysers to erupt?

the most common cause for a geyser to erupt is due to a tempreature and pressure problem. many plumbers who dont know how to install geyers properly, plug off the TP safety valve outlet (Temp and Pressure), what happens, the thermostat in the geyser fails and cannot control the tempreature inside the geyser, causing the geyser to over boil, which then creates extra pressure (because of the steam) within the geyser, so when that safety outlet is plugged off the geyser takes an enormous amount of strain, and then it finally explodes. it can be devestating and has known to rip roofs off houses.

Who is the person who found Colorado?

History doesn't record the first white or European to "find" or enter into what is now Colorado. However, without a doubt, the earliest whites to come into Colorado were the Mountain Men trapping beaver in the very early 1800's. The Trappers were a mixture of French Canadians and Americans. Joe Meeker, one of the more famous American Mountain Men, was the first documented man to come into what is now Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Imagine his surprise finding all that natural warmth from the geyers, mud pools, etc. in the middle of a Rocky Mtn. winter!
