1. Cut a small hole in a piece of cardboard.

2. Glue foil to both sides, leaving a strip of cardboard bare on opposite sides.

3. Attach a wire to one side using a paper clip. (make sure the clip doesn't connect with both sides, use the bare area.) And the same on the other side

4. When you press the area where the hole is, the foil should touch through and make a connection.

Your own touch, membrane switch!.

Of course there are many other ways. DO NOT USE HIGH VOLTAGE.

You can build a simple switch using aluminum foil by cutting two small pieces and placing them on either side of a gap in a circuit. When the gap is bridged by pressing the foil pieces together, it completes the circuit and allows electricity to flow. This can be used to turn on or off a light bulb, for example.
