them mass number of an element is the total amount of nuetrons and protons in the element , and the atomic number is the amount of protons ( and electrons) in the element

simply subtract the atomic number from the mass number and you'll have the number of neutrons in the element

hope this helped x

Who published the first version of the periodic table?

Dmitri Mendeleev is credited with publishing the first version of the periodic table in 1869. He arranged the elements based on their atomic weight and properties, creating a table that predicted the properties of missing elements.

What does the periodic table list elements according to?

The periodic table lists elements according to their atomic number, which is the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom of that element. Elements are arranged in order of increasing atomic number from left to right and top to bottom.

Elements are organized in the periodic table by their?

Elements are organized in the periodic table by their atomic number, which represents the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom. The atomic number determines the unique properties of each element, and elements with similar properties are grouped together in columns called groups.

What is the fundamental unit of which elements are composed?

The fundamental unit of which elements are composed is the atom. Atoms consist of a nucleus made up of protons and neutrons, surrounded by electrons. Each element is defined by the number of protons in its nucleus, which determines its atomic number on the periodic table.

In periodic table of elements it is the sum of the number of protons and neutrons of an atom.?

The sum of protons and neutrons is the atomic mass.

How do you count the number of neutrons and protons in an atom?

The number of protons in an atom is its atomic number, which you can find on the periodic table. To calculate the number of neutrons, subtract the atomic number from the atomic mass listed on the periodic table.

What information did mendeleev have about the elements he organized into the periodic table?

Because it has the atoms in the protons and neutrons

What subatomic particle makes the periodic table in the order of elements that it is in?

The order of the periodic table is made according to the atomic weights of the elements. The number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus make the atomic weight. Protons make the elements in order of the periodic table.

What is the name of the table of elements?

It is named The PERIODIC TABLE. The periods being the horizontal rows The groups being the vertical columns.

Where are the nuetrons found on the periodic table?

Neutrons are sub-atomic particles. The Periodic Table is an arrangement of the elements (atoms) made from these subatomic particles. Thus Neutrons by themselves have no place in the Periodic Table. However as all elements/atoms (except Hydrogen) contain some Neutrons, it is possible to find out how many using the information presented on the Periodic Table. The number of Neutrons present in an element/atom can be determined by subtracting the atomic number of an element/atom from its atomic mass.

What is a chart that lists all the known elements?

It is called the Periodic Table of Elements.

Why is uranium on the periodic Table of elements?

Because it is elemental. That is: it is not an alloy. It has a unique number of protons and neutrons.
