You can compare it by saying that each of them occur when a light transfers through one meduim to another. That's one way of explaining it.
That is incorrect :( It happens when light is shone onto or through a different medium. Reflection happens when light is shone ONTO a mirror, you cant shine light THROUGH a mirror.
REFLECTION:
IF a light ray in incident on a surface if it bring back to same medium is called reflection
REFRACTION:
IF a light ray in incident on a surface and going to another medium is called reflection
and there is a a law for refraction that is SNELL'S LAW
♦ According to the law of reflection, the angle of reflection of a reflected wave is equal to its angle of incidence. Compare refraction
refraction
refraction and reflection are similar because *they both have to do with waves*
It is called refraction, but some material bounces off the light and it is called reflection.
diffraction, reflection, refraction
reflection, refraction, dispersion and total internal reflection of the sun's rays make rainbows appear.
there isnt anything the same about it chickens are cool and so are cats mann B)
♦ According to the law of reflection, the angle of reflection of a reflected wave is equal to its angle of incidence. Compare refraction
Reflection and refraction. (Another is absorption.) (Another of the two is dispersion and interference.) (And another one is diffraction.)
refraction
refraction and reflection are similar because *they both have to do with waves*
the difference between refraction and reflection is that in refraction light bends and in reflection it is reflected
Refraction is better.
It is refraction
It is called refraction, but some material bounces off the light and it is called reflection.
they are all related to how waves change direction
Reflection of light is the bending of light from its point. while refraction is the diverging of light from its bearing.
