its weight divided by its volume. the volume is the circumference times thickness
The density of a penny is approximately 7.9 grams per cubic centimeter.
The density of a penny from 1979 is about 7.11 grams per cubic centimeter.
The density of a penny from 1982 is approximately 7.0 grams per cubic centimeter.
Penny. Put the ball, duck and penny in water. Only the penny sinks.
The density of two pennies would be greater than the density of one penny, as the mass of two pennies is double that of one penny while their volume remains the same. Therefore, the total mass is concentrated in a smaller volume, resulting in a higher density.
A penny has more density.
The density of a penny is approximately 7.9 grams per cubic centimeter.

The density of a penny from 1982 is approximately 7.0 grams per cubic centimeter.

at first, you have to find the density of the penny. [density = mass/ volume ] so 2.49/ 0.349 = 7.1347. rounded to 7.1 but the density of the copper is 8.92 g/ cm3 as the densities are not close, the penny is not pure copper. hope this help :)
Many countries use a penny as a minor currency unit and it is likely that each one of these has a different density.
The density of a penny is higher.

I'm am sorry i do not know
Because of the different densities. The density of wood is less than water while the density of a penny is greater than water.
