We always visualize, and assume, current to be flowing from the positive terminal

of the power supply or battery to the negative terminal, through the conducting path

provided by everything that's connected between them. In reality, though, the thing

that's doing the actual physical flowing is huge numbers of electrons, which happen

to carry negative charge. So the actual physical flow is in the opposite direction.

The what of an electromagnet is determined by the direction of current flow?

The polarity of an electromagnet is determined by the direction of current flow. When current flows one way, the magnetic field is oriented in one direction, and when it flows the other way, the magnetic field is oriented in the opposite direction.

What is the name of the electric current which always flows in the same direction?

Direct current (DC) is the name of the electric current that always flows in the same direction. It is commonly used in electronics and power transmission systems.

What do you call current that does not reverse direction?

Direct current (DC) is the term used to refer to current that flows in one direction and does not reverse its direction. This is in contrast to alternating current (AC), which changes direction periodically.

What is DC Energy?

That may refer to DC electricity - direct current. This is when the current always flows in the same direction, unlike AC which changes its direction several times per second. That may refer to DC electricity - direct current. Which current flows in one direction only?

Direct current (DC) this is produced by for example batteries. AC alternating current changes direction on a cyclical basis and is used in power distribution and what "comes out" of the power sockets in the home.

What is the difference altarnet current and direct current?

Direct current= flows in one direction ... AC flows in back and forward ..

What is a electrical current that flows in one direction?

DC.

Which is the Direction of the current in resistor?

A resistor is bi-directional meaning current can flow in either direction. Current flows from positive to negative.

What is discharging direction of capacitor?

When a capacitor discharges the discharge current flows in the opposite direction to the current used to charge it.

What electricity do you get from batteries?

DC (direct current, a current that flows in a single direction).

What is unidirectional current?

the current which flows in only one specific direction is called as unidirectional current

That's a "direct" current.

Why is galvanometer used when you know that electric current travels from cathode to anode of the battery?

I think that you talk about the usage of galvanometer in photoelectric emission experiment. Right? The main purpose of using a galvanometer is to know about whether current flows or not and also the direction in which current flows. Moreover current flows right from anode to cathode and electrons do flow from cathode to anode within the discharge tube.
