Static electricity is a charge built up on an object, usually from interacting with its surrounding, like shuffling your feet or rubbing fur. Its just a charge that sits there (static!)

Electric discharge is when a charge moves between objects , this happens when you touch something and the static charge on you moves to the new object in one lump.

One is a measure of charge, the other is the charge's movement. One is static, the other is usually fast (not always)

A current traveling through a circuit is a continuous flow while a static discharge passes electrons from one object to another until the two objects have the save potential.

How does a generator produce static electricity?

Static generators, such as the Wimshurst and the Van deGraaff, both separatecharges by rubbing/scraping one surface against another. They differ in howthey store the charge before the zzapp occurs.

How is static friction and kinetic friction differ from each other?

They are different because static means "not in motion" and kinetic means "in motion". Kinetic friction means friction that is moving and static friction means friction that is not moving.

How do static friction and kinetic differ from each other?

Static friction is a force that must be overcome to start motion. Kinetic friction is the force that must be overcomne during motion or the motion stops.

How does the electrical force differ from gravity in its manifestation?

Electric force between electric charges where as the gravitational force is between the masses. Electric force is of two types both attractive and repulsive as like charges repel and unlike charges attract. But gravitational force is of only attractive. Electric force between electric charges. So the constant of proportionality has the electric permittivity property. But in case of gravitation, universal gravitation constant plays the equivalent role. It will be the same irrespective of the medium. In case of electric field, permittivity of the medium differ from each other. THe weakest force is the gravitational force where as the electric force would be comparativeley larger. Relatively moving electric field would bring magnetic field. But moving gravitational field does not produce any such field.

What are sound waves that are musical differ in what from other sound waves?

Your perception. All sound is the result of a medium being compressed at different levels. Speakers can produce noise, static and music all with the same action.

How does a static discharge differs from an electric discharge?

It doesn't differ at all, an electric current is electricity that is moving in a current and when static electricity is discharged from an object it creates a current from one object to another

How does static electric differ from current electric?

Static electricity is a charge that is stored in a medium until it finds a way to discharge itself to a ground source .. scuffing your feet on a rug , socks help , will build a charge in you until you touch something ,, brother, door knob , lightening is a static charge, a capacitor uses a static charge Electric current is a constant flow of electricity from one place, a source thru a circuit and back to the source .. a battery is made to cause this flow thru chemical action .. the power in your house has various circuits that carry the electrical current flow thru the devices and appliances in your home

Do the effects of static electricity differ between a solid or liquid matter?

Depends on the matter

How does current electricity differ from static electricity?

Static electricity is the BUILT UP STORE of electron charges [e-] between a pair of objects, while current electricity is the FLOW of electrons between these objects. Static electricity is a transfer of charge from one static body to another, resulting in an imbalance in positive and negative charges, while electric current is the flow of electrons, from one static body to another.

How does static electricity and magnesium differ?

The question is about comparing two different quantities. Static electricity is a physical phenomenon (for example, heat). It is about the accumulation of electrons or the lack of electrons on insulating surfaces. Magnesium is a metal, a material, that is a conductor and burns brightly when lit. Other than that Magnesium cannot accumulate electrons at the surface to cause static electricity, I don't see any relation.
