I remember when I bought my first and second car my parents would go for a three hour drive and drive fast to "break it in" so they said. Why? B/c they said that if you didn't get the car to drive the speed or up to a decent speed it would have a hard time doing it if you didn't drive it fast to begin with.

For example: Lets say I bought the car and for a yr I drove at average speed, at the speed limit. Later, when going out of town, and I want to go faster, the car wouldn't be used to it, and it would wear out the car. Now I don't know how true that is, I'm just remembering what my parents told me.

How does gravity effect the speed of a toy car?

Gravity affects the speed of a toy car by pulling it downward, which can increase its acceleration when moving downhill and decrease its acceleration when moving uphill. The force of gravity can also affect the traction of the tires on different surfaces, influencing the overall speed and performance of the toy car.

How does the weight of a car affect the speed?

The weight of a car affects its speed by influencing its acceleration and braking performance. A heavier car may have slower acceleration due to its increased inertia, but it may have better traction and stability at higher speeds. However, excessive weight can also result in decreased fuel efficiency and overall performance.

What three controls on a car change velocity?

The accelerator pedal controls the amount of fuel going to the engine, which in turn affects the car's speed. The brake pedal reduces speed by applying friction to the wheels. The gearshift lever changes the gear ratio, altering the speed and performance of the vehicle.

When a car accelerates, what factors contribute to the increase in speed and how does the acceleration process affect the overall performance of the vehicle?

When a car accelerates, factors like engine power, weight of the car, and road conditions contribute to the increase in speed. The acceleration process affects the overall performance of the vehicle by improving its ability to reach higher speeds quickly and efficiently, enhancing its responsiveness and agility on the road.

How does the wheel affect the speed of a car?

The wheel size and gear ratio of a car affect its speed. A larger wheel can cover more distance with each revolution, increasing speed, while a lower gear ratio can provide quicker acceleration but lower top speed. The wheel also affects handling and traction, which in turn impact the car's overall performance.

How does time affect speed?

Time affects speed because if the time is frozen no one can run or a car does not have speed

What is the speed of a import car?

Depends on the car. Being an import in itself does not indicate the performance specifications.

How does weight affects a car performance?

Increasing a vehicles weight will decrease it's acceleration, braking performance, cornering performance and life. It also increases the cars fuel consumption and tyre wear.

How does cc affects the performance of car?

The more cc's, the more air that can ignite the Fuel/Air mix of a car.Hope That Helps.

How does gravity affect a car?

Gravity affects a car by providing the downward force that keeps it grounded on the road. Gravity also affects the car's acceleration, as it determines the rate at which the car gains speed when going downhill and loses speed when going uphill. Additionally, gravity influences the car's fuel efficiency, as it requires more energy to overcome gravity when driving uphill.
