The .50 cal Browning Machine Gun (BMG) round has a maximum range is around 7,000+ meters. Recorded combat kills in the 2420-meter range have been verified.
a s.w.50 caliber or ( special weapons ) also known as the snipers weapon and is about 5.45" in length, either it has a red, black, silver or blue tip That really didn't answer the question. Here is what you need to consider when trying to answer this question. #1 What is the weight of the bullet? If you're talking about a 750 grain .50 BMG, then it would not travel very far. Is this a Beowulf .50 cal or a Browning Machine Gun .50 cal? You can get exterior ballistics software on-line to calculate exactly what your looking for.
It depends. A box of 10 .50 BMG cartridges are something like $25 or $30. .50 AE is much cheaper. There are also other types of 50 caliber ammo and bullets.
The speed of a bullet can vary depending on the type of firearm used, but some bullets can travel at speeds exceeding 3000 feet per second (around 1000 meters per second). The fastest bullets are typically fired from high-powered rifles or military firearms.
Velocity of .50 BMG (Browining Machine Gun, 660 gr to 720 gr bullet weights ) projectile within 20 feet of the muzzle will between 2750 and 2850 feet per second, depending upon the cartride. It depends on the weight and shape of the bullet, as well as the amount of powder used, but a good average would be from 2800 feet per second to a little over 3000 feet per second when shot from a rifle. There have been reports of greater speeds (in the 4000 to 5000 fps range) perhaps with sabot rounds.
A typical .50 caliber round, such as the .50 BMG (Browning Machine Gun) cartridge, has an approximate mass of around 45-52 grams, depending on the specific type and composition of the bullet and casing.
The cost of a 50 cal. BMG bullet is about $3,000 if you go to the right store!!
The .50 BMG round travels at about 2,800 feet per second, or about 1,900 miles per hour.
7400 meters.
The maximum range of a .50 BMG catridge (there are others) - with no accuracy, is about 6,000 meters. The maximum EFFECTIVE range (skilled marksman) is about 1/3 of that. Prior answers to this question attributed a range that can only be reached by the main guns on a battleship.

They both fire the 50 BMG
about 36km
To my knowledge, a .50 BMG round is accurate out of a sniper's rifle for about two miles. However, accurate shooting doesn't mean that's all the farther it will go, if you plan on testing this, please do so more than 10 miles from any buildings of people.
Muzzle loader or centerfire?
Yes, actually most bullets do. Bullets can range from a handgun at 253 M.P.H (average) to the fastest and biggest bullet i know, the .50 cal BMG at 1901 M.P.H or 2800 ft a second
Its effective range is about 2,000 meters but it can travel up to 6,800 meters.
If you have enough of it to compensate for the force of the bullet, yes. Any material can. Even a .50 BMG can be stopped with a little over three feet of water.
