Okay, so renewable energy is basically energy that can be used again, and is an endless resource; the opposite to things like coal which are burnt- full stop.

Solar panels can transform sunlight (renewable energy) into electricity, wind turbines can transform wind power into electricity and dams can do the same with hydraulic power I think. Electricity can be turned into heat in turn, or heat can be found directly from the sun, a renewable energy source.

I hope this helps!

Is geothermal a renewable or nonrenewable?

Geothermal energy is considered a renewable energy source because it relies on heat from the Earth's core, which is continuously produced. This heat can be harnessed to generate electricity and heat buildings without depleting the resource.

What is geothermal energy for kids?

Geothermal energy is heat from the Earth's core that can be used to generate electricity. This renewable energy source is found in the form of hot water, steam, and underground rock. Geothermal power plants capture this heat and convert it into electricity to power homes and businesses.

What type of energy resource is solar energy?

Solar energy takes the form of radiation. Solar panels may allow this solar energy to be converted to heat or to electricity. (Electricity is not a fuel or even energy: it is a means of transferring energy).

What is energy from the Sun an example of?

The Sun's energy is created through nuclear fusion and manifests in the form of infared radiation (heat).

Why is geothermal energy considered a renewable resources?

Geothermal energy is considered renewable because it is sourced from the Earth's internal heat, which is continuously produced by radioactive decay of minerals. This heat source is essentially inexhaustible on human timescales, making geothermal energy a sustainable and renewable resource for generating electricity and heat.

What energy is created from the earths heat?

Geothermal energy is created from the Earth's heat. This renewable energy source harnesses heat from beneath the Earth's surface to generate electricity or provide direct heating.

What type of energy is generated by using the earth heat?

Geothermal energy is generated by using the earth's heat. This renewable energy source involves tapping into heat stored beneath the Earth's surface to produce electricity or provide heating and cooling for buildings.

Is oil a form of energy?

No

What is geothermal energy considered a renewable resource?

Geothermal energy is considered a renewable resource because it is derived from the heat of the Earth's core, which is continuously generated through radioactive decay. This heat can be harnessed to generate electricity without depleting the Earth's resources. As long as the Earth continues to generate heat, geothermal energy will be considered renewable.

What type of energy is Biomass Energy?

Biomass energy is a renewable energy source that comes from organic materials like plants and trees. When these materials are burned or converted into biofuels, they can produce heat, electricity, and other forms of energy.

Is solar heat or solar electricity renewable?

The meaning of renewable is the ability to be replenished. Solar power is considered renewable energy since there is an abundance of it and the power emitted by the sun is never ending.

Is geothermal a renewable or nonrenewable resource?

Geothermal energy is considered a renewable resource because it is derived from the heat of the Earth, which is continuously produced within the planet's core. This heat can be harnessed to generate electricity and heat buildings with minimal impact on the environment.
