There is no answer, as 5'x6' only describes one face of the bale. Also required is the front-to-back measurement.

if i understand you right, you are asking how many square bales = 1 large round bale, and by large i think you mean 5 wide bales, 5x5, 5x5.25, 5x5.50, 5x6 ect. the answer is 20 - 35 small two wire bales.
They can, but not necessarily. Let's say we have a rectangle of 5x6 and another of 1x30. The areas of both are 30 square feet, but their perimeters are different. Perimeter of 5x6: 5+5+6+6=22 feet Perimeter of 1x30: 1+1+30+30=62 feet There are many more examples of this.
5x6=30

Common round bales weigh between seven and nine hundred pounds depending on content. (7-900lb or 3-400kg) Some balers make them in sizes up to 2200lb but this is rare.
5x6 is a measure of the tomatoes size base on how many you can fit in a case. Tomatoes are sold wholesale in standard 25lb boxes. 5x6 means that you can fit about 5 rows of 6 tomatoes in the dimensions of a standard 25 lb case. So a 6x6 tomato would be smaller, and a 4x6 tomato would be bigger.
