A 20 ton load typically contains 20 cubic yards of crush and run material. Note that the density of the crush and run material will determine the exact volume in the load.
One ton of absolutely anything weighs one ton.
Hydraulic pressure required to lift a one ton load will depend on factors such as the size of the hydraulic cylinder, the mechanical advantage of the system, and frictional losses. As a rough estimate, for a simple hydraulic system with a one square inch piston and a one ton load (2000 pounds), you would need a pressure of 2000 psi to lift the load.
The approximate traction force required to move a pallet truck carrying a 1-ton load (1000 kg) would depend on factors such as the friction between the wheels and the floor, slope of the surface, and any other resistance. In general, a rough estimate would be around 200-300 N of force.
there are 2,000 lbs in a ton
There are 16 ounces in a pound, and there are 2000 pounds in a ton. That means there are 32000 ounces in a ton.
It is a half ton pickup ,correct?
1/2 of a load
One ton of absolutely anything weighs one ton.
The load capacity is usually listed on the vehicle title. Load capacity ratings are 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, etc.

What are the basis of a bridge load limit?
Generally speaking, the 1500 (or F150 for Fords) is a half ton truck. 1500 = 1/2 ton 2500 = 3/4 ton 3500 = 1 ton My guess is that the number refers to the static or total load capacity in lbs. So your 1/2 ton truck could actually hold 3/4 of a ton of material but it would not be recommended to drive around with that much load. If you load it with a 1/2 ton of material and hit a pothole you have another 500lbs of force that the truck can withstand before being overstressed. These are just ratings though. You need to know your truck in order to know how much you can put in it. Check your leaf springs, tires, wheels, and handling and make your best judgement. Also, it is probably illegal to excede the vehicles gross maximum weight rating.
depends on run load amps. on the outside condenser it will tell you on the spec plate max size fuse.
in one ton that is 8amps more or less for the full load amprs. for no load amprs around 4amprs
Load capacity is right at a ton for the regular cab, basic truck (2008)
