I very much doubt if the Hatchet fish would be a regular catch of either of these predators since the Hatchet fish is very much a "skimming just under the surface" fish and the Viperfish and Anglerfish are both extremely deepwater fish although the Viperfish is reputed to come into shallower water to feed.
