According to 18carat.co.uk, one cubic meter of gold weighs 19.3 tonnes.

"518.13 lbs"

^^^This answer is wrong.

518.13 pounds = 235 Kilograms.

1 cubic metre (meter) = 1,000,000 (1 million) cubic centimetres

235 Kilograms = 235,000 grams

So according to this measurement, 1 cubic centimetre of gold weighs 0.235 grams. Which is ridiculous, when 1cc of water weighs 1 gram.

Does somebody know the correct answer?

I've seen it answered as "How much does one cubic inch of gold weigh" but seriously, who measures in cubic inches? What do they even mean? Cubic centimetres (centimeters) please.
